Topic Overview:

We've all witnessed technically gifted teams facing challenges such as unnecessary conflict, siloed work, frustration, poor morale, high turnover, and a struggle to meet organizational goals despite their combined talent. As learning and development experts, we recognize that we may possess the key to unlock their potential and propel their careers forward.  However, identifying the root of the problem can be challenging.

Fortunately, a trusted ally has provided us with a powerful tool - Working Genius, an assessment crafted by Patrick Lencioni, renowned for his work on "The Five Dysfunctions of a Team" and more. Unlike other assessments that focus on style or personality, Working Genius measures passion for performing six areas of everyday work, identifying our “Working Genius,” including what gives us or drains our energy.

In this session, Dan Heffernan, Chief Growth Officer of Dale Carnegie, participants will explore how the Working Genius assessment can serve as a new lens, allowing us to see beyond surface-level issues.  Companies have leveraged these insights to retain top talent, increase team performance, accelerate career development and support cross-functional strategic transformation initiatives.

Through interactive discussions, participants will strategize on how this tool can used to navigate current learning and organizational challenges.  Moreover, participants will have the opportunity for a hands-on experience by taking the assessment and gaining valuable insights into their personal results.  Join us in this empowering session to elevate your team-building skills and set new standards for success.
