Topic Overview: 

We all talk about the importance of providing excellent customer experience and yet our customers often face overly complex and confusing written communication. Learn how to give your customers content that evokes trust, improves understanding, and decreases wasted time and money.

In this session, Deborah Bosley, an international expert in plain language, will share her 20 years of experience working with Fortune 500 businesses, government agencies, and non-profits to improve the quality of written communication. We will discuss: 

  1. Define the plain language movement. 

  2. Relate its value to the L&D profession.

  3. Utilize tips for creating clear written communication

Deborah has been a TEDx speaker. Her presentations are lively and full of examples, stories, and interactions with her audience. She will show you real life examples that will leave your head spinning. She has given more than 100 keynotes and is in demand because of her ability to engage the audience with important content while making her topic informative, provocative, and fun.
