Topic Overview:

By transforming data into intelligence, organizations can gain insights into their workforce and can ensure that their talent development efforts are effective and efficient. This intelligence can then be used to inform future decisions and ensure that training initiatives are meeting the desired business objectives. This session aims to provide L&D practitioners with guidance on how to embark on their data to intelligence journey, as well as some use cases.

Bio:

Sukumaran Mariappan (Suku) is the leader of Human Capital Intelligence & Analytics function at Ally Financials with over 22 years of experience in the field of Human Resources.

Suku has extensive experience in developing and implementing workforce analytics strategies, leveraging data to identify trends and opportunities, and developing predictive models to inform decision-making. He has also led the development of innovative analytics solutions to improve functional efficiency and evidence-based HR transformation. Some of the work his team delivered is showcased in the book “Excellence in People Analytics”. In 2013, Suku was awarded “40 Most Talented HR Leaders in India” by ET Now and Word HRD Congress.
