Session Description:

CHANGE THE GAME: EVERYTHING YOU THOUGHT YOU KNEW ABOUT LEADERSHIP IS WRONG

Presenter:  Jessica Bronzert

Topic Overview: We live in a world of ever-increasing complexity and are frequently confronted by shifting threats, disruptive change and overwhelming access to opportunities. The traditional methods of leadership development have not kept up. Merely concentrating on building skills does not increase our ability to understand and respond to the multifaceted challenges we face.

Today we will change the game by introducing Vertical Development, a process that enables you to mature as a leader – to literally “grow up.” You will discover how you can increase your capacity for growth, respond to the world more thoughtfully and deepen your understanding of culture and strategy.

Growth starts with seeing yourself differently and more clearly. You must appreciate multiple perspectives and understand that the systems we all operate in are part of a larger whole. Vertical Development fundamentally changes the game by shifting our focus so that we can recalculate our strategy and create new outcomes.

During our time together, you will locate yourself within the vertical framework and learn how you can elevate and improve your responses to organizational dilemmas. You will leave with an understanding of how you can use agile decision-making to create improved outcomes.

Adopting the Vertical Development method will empower you and your team to face complex challenges and opportunities now and in the future.
