  • Welcome to our chapter. We hope you'll join us for an evening of stimulating thought and professional company. Let us introduce you to our group and share why we would love for you to be a part of it!
  • If you have been given a Guest Pass by a member, but the member is unable to attend, use your Guest Pass to join us for an evening of stimulating thought and professional company.

    Be sure you list the member's name that gave you the card.
  • Join your other members and their guests for an evening of networking and information. You can add paid guests or use one of your Guest Passes.
  • You are the member registering for you and a guest who will attend the meeting with you. Chapter members can bring two (2) guests per year for free to a monthly chapter meeting.

Session Description:

Are you ready to apply for jobs, make a career change, or develop another income stream? Do you have your resume updated and ready to send? How do you anticipate showing or illustrating your capabilities? In this presentation, we are going to discuss the practical uses and advantages of having a professional portfolio. Through this discussion, we will address who needs a professional portfolio, what a professional portfolio is or can be, and how to go about building one to best fit your goals. 

Presentation objectives:

After the presentation. participants will be able to:

- Understand the use of a professional portfolio

- Identify aspects of a professional portfolio and options for platforms 

- Assess individual need for a professional portfolio  



Presenter




Randi Howell, a North Carolina native, who works full-time in higher education as a Program Coordinator, and serves as Vice President of Safe Clear, Inc., a local surgical mask company. Early in her higher education career, Howell built and managed large teams of professionals to serve and support student success in developmental mathematics. As Program Coordinator, Howell oversaw the full life cycle of hiring and recruiting for her team, as well as division on-boarding training and on-going coaching and professional development for her team. Howell holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Wofford College, a Bachelor's and Master's degree in History from UNC-Charlotte, a Graduate Mathematics certificate from NC State University, and a Data Analytics and Visualization Certificate from UNC-Charlotte. Howell is passionate about changing lives through the power of education and effective training. She enjoys coffee, reading, as well as spending quality time with family and friends.
