Topic

As an HRD professional, leveraging tension is critical towards successfully managing changeundefinedwhether with those you train, coach, or lead, members of your team, organization, or businessundefinedor yourself.

But what is tension? How does tension impact the field of Human Resource Development? Those you work with? The organization you work for? Yourself as a professional?

In Paying Attention to Tension, you will:

  • Identify the real reason for change
  • Define the five levels of tensionundefinedand their critical role in determining how change initiatives should be managed
  • Identify how tension dictates the differences between those receptive to changeundefinedand those who are not
  • Discover why Pareto’s Principle is always a function of tension
  • Be introduced to the ChangeGrid™ change management tool
  • Complete an on-line ChangeGrid™ survey, and have your results reviewed during the presentation.

If you’ve never had the opportunity to pay attention to your own tension, this is an opportunity you don’t want to miss!
