  • If you have been given a Guest Pass by a member, but the member is unable to attend, use your Guest Pass to join us as a guest for an evening of stimulating thought, good food and professional company.

    Guest Pass must be presented upon arrival. Be sure you list the member's name that gave you the card.
  • Join your other members and their guests for an evening of great food, networking and information. You can add paid guests.
  • You are the member registering for you and a guest who will attend the meeting with you. Chapter members can bring five guests per year for free to a monthly chapter meeting.

Training Departments can have a tremendous impact on setting individuals, teams, and organizations up for success in maximizing skills and abilities, and achieving goals. Learn how to begin a paradigm shift within your organization to develop your department brand as a true strategic partner.

In this session, participants will learn:

  • The importance of identifying root causes for performance challenges - and steps to take.
  • The need for a formal intake process when requests are received.
  • When evaluations should be built - and administered.
  • The support needed from managers to ensure effective creation, execution, and impact from training.
  • To consider building a business case for shifting the role and brand of L&D within the organization.
  • How to begin building your brand and strategic relationships.


About Our Speaker

Linda LaFortune, LaFortune Consulting


Linda LaFortune partners with organizations to help individuals, teams, and leaders reach their full potential through offering impactful employee and leadership development sessions. Linda's areas of expertise include leadership development, emotional intelligence, employee engagement, change management, and professional skills development.

Linda worked in the corporate world for 25 years in organizations ranging in asset size from $25 million to $1+ billion. Her most recent corporate role was the AVP of Learning and Development for a large financial institution. Much of her career has been focused on developing high impact leadership development and employee engagement programs. She has earned her Master's degree in Leadership and Organizational Change and is a certified facilitator.
