Volunteer Opportunity - Promising Pages

What: Volunteers will be helping with processing incoming book donations in the Operations Center. This includes counting, cleaning, stamping, and sorting donations.

When: Saturday, April 28 from 10am - 12pm

Where: The Operations Center is located behind CBI's headquarters at 4020 Yancey Rd. Charlotte, NC 28217.Below is a map to show you where to enter the property, where you can park and the entrance to the Operations Center.

Attire: Please note that our Operations Center is a traditional warehouse and it is currently the same temperature as it is outside. So, please dress comfortably and feel free to bring bottled water to stay hydrated. Also, be sure to wear close-toed shoes. We encourage you to wear your ATD volunteer t-shirt if you have one. If not, one will be provided for you.

Additional Information: Once you have found parking, please proceed to the loading dock and walk up the stairs. Please knock on the glass door closest to the dumpster and someone will direct you to our operations space.

Children as young as 6 years old are permitted to volunteer with a parent/guardian.

All volunteers must complete the Volunteer Registration Form prior to their shift. If you cannot complete this before the volunteer event, forms will be provided at Promising Pages for you to complete before we begin.
