Dick Richardson

Flight 1549, “The Miracle on the Hudson,” is the backbone of the Brace for Impact Leadership Experience. But the experience is far more than the story of a fateful landing. Safely experience the stress and fear that causes some leaders to freeze instead of lead. And focus on how executives lead themselves and their teams in the midst of the unexpected, the unplanned, and the unpredictable.

Learning Objectives:

  • Prepare for the stress of disruption
  • Manage the complexity and confusion that comes with sudden adversity
  • Set-up team member roles and goals to be able to react quickly to avoid failure and achieve success
  • Build Mental Toughness and Agility

About Dick Richardson:

Dick is a partner and co-founder of Experience to Lead. He is responsible for the design and customization of programs, as well as facilitation. He has worked as a Program Director with The Conference Board, Director of Executive Leadership Development for ITT and held a variety of leadership positions in learning at IBM. His last position was IBM Director of Executive and Management Development, responsible for the leadership curriculum for all IBM managers and executives.
