Kelly Irons, developus
“Relationships are the key to success in the workplace” is a universally accepted truth. However, we rarely find people who excel in this area, and ever fewer who can teach others to be great in this area. Massive bodies of research telling us that relationships matter, coupled with personal experience, leads everyone to agree that relationships can make or break performance, engagement, and even careers. During this session, we’ll address the four things you need in order to transform your RE-lationships into REAL-ationships, and increase your impact as a leader, facilitator, coach, and mentor.
Kelly started her career in operations management for non-profit mental health facilities in the Philadelphia area, where development of individuals was the core business. From there, a career in training and development emerged, leading her to leadership roles in both public and private organizations. Her roots in human development have remained a core to her business practice, and she operates under a guiding philosophy that in order to impact a group, you have to impact the individuals that make up the group. From this foundation, her work in coaching, mentoring and leadership emerged. Today she is the Founder and Owner of developUs, a Charlotte based Training and Development company focusing on Relationship Driven Performance Improvement, and solves training challenges for clients around the world, from California to the Philippines. Her leadership style and commitment to individual and organizational excellence have earned her multiple awards throughout her career, including Agent of Change, Employee of the Year, Vintage Partner Award, and an HR Excellence award.
