Internship Opportunities

Hart & Hickman, PC, a 60-person environmental consulting firm with offices in Charlotte and Raleigh, is seeking a top Learning & Development student to help support our need to build an L&D program for our staff of environmental geologists, engineers, and scientists.  This is a paid co-op/intern position.

Briefly, the task at hand is to formulate an L&D program, starting with a structured mentoring program aimed at our first three levels of employment for our technical staff.  We envision buying access to a cloud-based LMS and PMS, buying library digital content/coursework to get it launched, and then building out instructor led, webinar, and other digital learning  coursework.  The skills to be learned in real time include strategic program development, presenting options & recommendations, forecasting effort and cost for program development and implementation, and balancing complexity and cost with what is feasible for a 60-person professional services firm.  Afterward, we’ll need assistance in implementation of the plan to get content built & entered into the proposed LMS/PMS, assistance in getting the new program rolling successfully, and to train & turn the program over to our team at the appropriate time.  This work will be led out of our Charlotte office in South End.

If you possess the skills, creativity, and professional curiosity required to help us find the best L&D solutions, please submit your letter of interest, with focus area for your major, GPA, and brief qualifications to https://hart--hickman.breezy.hr/p/08b67a9f994e .
