Volunteer Opportunity - Crisis Assistance

Crisis Assistance offers many services. ATD will be assisting in the Free Store. The Free Store provides donated clothing and household items all at no charge to families in need, so that people can use their limited resources on other necessities. 

What will we be doing? Sorting and inspecting donations, hanging clothing, and stocking the Free Store as needed.

When is the event? Saturday  November 17th from 11am - 1pm 

Where is the event? 500-A Spratt Street, Charlotte, NC, 28206 at the intersection of Graham and Statesville Avenue

Special Instructions: 

When volunteers arrive, feel free to park anywhere in our parking lot (we encourage carpooling). Your group will want to show up 10 minutes early to find parking and for signing in. You will want to enter through the “Welcome Volunteers” entrance which is the small door to the left of the Donation Drive Thru. A member of our Free Store Production team will help the group sign in, give a brief orientation and overview of our agency, and from there the group will work on the production side of the Free Store. Volunteers are encouraged to wear close-toed shoes and bring their own water bottle.
